A beautiful and blessed summer has once again danced its way through our valley. Evidence of this can be found everywhere – from giant butterflies floating above the altar, to papeles picados decorating the dining hall.

It’s Summer at Holden

The Youth of May have come and gone. So has the snow (repeatedly, its last appearance only two days ago). Summer staff are arriving by the dozens and new friendships blossom like Holden irises.

A Story For Spring Work Week

It was a dark and stormy night, followed by a dark and snowy day. Winter was lasting too long. Holden Village lay buried under snow. More snow was falling. No letup was predicted.

St. John's Students Reflect
